well, duh... if people wanted to think, why would they watch tv? or get out of bed? or....

ah well. it's not the same, but we'll have the DVDs, and "my name is earl" is a pretty funny show over on NBC.

Obviously we all think AD is amazing. However, I can see how it might be hard for someone who doesn't watch the show regularly to fully appreciate it. the humor is so brilliantly subtle. often the funniest parts are quick, related to something that happened many episodes ago. One scene in particular comes to mind - I believe it was George Michael who opened the refrigerator while talking to Michael and got blue paint on his hand from the handle. No other reference was made to Tobias' stint as a blue man several episodes earlier. Someone who didn't watch the show regularly would've NEVER picked up on it. For me, it was one of those scenes which had me declaring eternal allegience.

Along with that, the humor is definitely too smart, quick, subtle for the masses who need a laugh track to tell them when something is funny.

keeping my fingers crossed it's picked up again. or at the very least have a full 3rd season for DVD, regardless of whether it's televised or not.

you're right! they cut back the episodes to only 13 (only 8 more left), 3 are scheduled for december and the remaining 5 are the ones in question.
