Ever since Fox announced they were cutting back on AD's episode order-
fans have been showing their support for Arrested Development by
buying the DVDs of the first 2 seasons. Amazingly enough-they are
the number 1 AND 2 best selling DVDs on amazon.com! They are also
really really cheap, so if you haven't got them yet-this is a great
time to do so and show your support! Who knows-maybe FOX will
realize the DVD sales will supplement the production of more episodes!!

But yes, anyone who doesn't have it already buy it! It will make a great holiday present for those un-initiated. But buy buy buy! It worked for Family Guy. -

When they saw that Family Guy was doing well in DVD sales, they were taking the stats from ALL stores (Wal-mart, amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City) -

Thu, November 17, 2005 - 11:52 AMTrue, but the Amazon price just happens to be the cheapest out there right now by a pretty significant margin. So that would be the advantage to buying it there. Also, while it's close to or at the top of the charts on Amazon I think the prices are lower due to volume. I bought my sets there and they were a little bit more expensive because AD wasn't on the bestseller list yet. -

Tue, November 22, 2005 - 6:49 PMI'm at my parents house and they have an HDTV. These Arrested Development DVDs look awesome on this set. With everything crystal clear (less like film and more like digital video), it looks more like a documentary/reality show. (I think thats the way they originally intended the show to look like)
